VQ 6: seductive melodies with sensuous lyrics

I have a thing for sexy songs. I love them. And they don’t have to have any particular instrument or be slow. On the contrary, they can be any speed but they need to make me unleash something. Unleash movement, flow and love. Often, they make me want to dance or sway. They make me feel alive. So I wanted to honor those sexy songs by devoting an episode to them. I’ll share my favorite sexy song but what I MOST want is that YOU will share yours with me so that I can discover new sexy songs— they’re like gems 💎 in this lifetime. 😁

Today's Guest

It’s amazing that today’s guest is YOU!  👏

We'll Talk About

– What sexy song sticks out in your mind the most.

– What I consider to be the #1 sexy song (although it is hard to narrow it down because there are so many wonderful songs).

– Where we can share more songs to enjoy and hopefully add to our playlist.

Resources

Haydee [00:00:30]:

Well, hello there. Welcome to another episode of Voluptuous Questions. My name is Haydee, and my guest today is a special and sexy someone called you! Let’s jump right in. What’s the sexiest song you’ve ever heard? How do I say this? So even though today we’re gonna talk about a song you consider sexy, we’re not going to talk about who dedicated that song to you, how you discovered it, or what you’ve done with that song playing in the background. We’re just going to talk about the song. Okay? Alright? Alright. 😂 If I had to choose 1 song that takes the cake, in my opinion, it would be There You Go by Johnny Gill.

Haydee [00:01:18]:

If there is a number 1 sexy song, this would be it. And I know my fair share about sexy songs. Wink. Wink. 😉 So what do I like about the song? The beginning, the cadence, the slow build, the lyrics, the climax, the end, it’s sexy from start to finish. I love voices like Johnny’s. They just pierce your soul. The choir is also superb, especially with that punctuated “OH!” Uf you know the song, you know what I’m talking about.

Haydee [00:01:55]:

When you listen to the song, it makes you really get into the composer’s / singer’s train of thought. And you kind of identify with them. The devotion to please is sweet love, as the song says. And this song would NOT be what it is if there was not a saxophone that gave this song its magical extra boost. It just wouldn’t. The saxophone comes in and highlights and makes it clear for everybody just how sexy this song is. This song is a little too obvious, I know. So obvious in fact that one time, my sister, who knows that I LOVE sexy songs and thinks of me whenever she hears a sexy song, asked me what song I thought was the sexiest. And even though the song came to mind, I confess to you that I couldn’t bring myself to tell her about this one, but I did tell her a few other songs. 😂 Yet here I am confessing that I like this song to YOU.

Haydee [00:02:59]:

You see? THIS is the kind of interaction that I want to have with you and I want you to have with yourself. And if you want, you could have it with me, too. I have left the link to the song in the show notes so you can add it to Spotify or your favorite music platform. As a matter of fact, if you haven’t done so already, I encourage you to have a playlist dedicated to sexy songs. You never know when the mood for listening to sexy songs will strike. 🤣 I’m REALLY looking forward to reading about your answers to this question about your favorite sexy song on our TikTok account, @VoluptuousQuestions, because I’m always wanting to increase my sexy music playlist, and I’m sure that many of your recommendations will become part of my playlist. And for that, I thank you in advance. And as a thank you for being part of this podcast, I’ve actually created a Voluptuous Questions Playlist on Spotify, which you can follow. I will add any songs that I mentioned on this podcast there so you could spot it easily.

Haydee [00:04:02]:

Would you please do me a favor? Can you please go to iTunes and leave a review? If you’ve done this already or were planning to, I send you my ENORMOUS gratitude. THANK YOU SO MUCH! Remember, you’re the star of this podcast and the star of your life. Keep shining brightly always. ✨⭐️✨
