Haydee [00:00:30]:
Well, hello there. Welcome to the first holiday edition episode of Voluptuous Questions. My name is Haydee and YOU are my beloved guest whom I’m excited to interview today. Happy Halloween! ππ«π¬π Halloween isn’t my favorite holiday, but it’s a fun holiday, which I’ve celebrated most of my life. Given that I understand that not everybody celebrates Halloween or has dressed up in the past, today’s question has 2 parts. If you can, I encourage you to answer both parts, but if you’ve never dressed up before, you can answer the 2nd part at least. Ready? Today’s question is: What is the Halloween costume you have looked the best in? And the second part is, if you could dress up as ANYTHING for Halloween, what would you like to dress up as? Regardless of whether you can answer just the second half of the question or for both parts, you have to promise me something.
Haydee [00:01:40]:
Promise me that you’ll let your imagination go free for the 2nd part. Pretend that there are NO barriers, monetary or otherwise, that would prevent you from having the costume of your dreams. Deal? Deal. The Halloween costume I’ve looked the best in was when I dressed up as Wendy, And one of my colleagues dressed up as Peter Pan, and another colleague of mine dressed up as Tinkerbell. We made a nice team. What’s ironic is that I actually have never seen the movie Peter Pan, but I’ve seen little clips of it. We had a very harmonious and close working relationship, and we had a wonderful work environment. So I remember that Halloween with lots of love.
Haydee [00:02:30]:
If I could dress up as ANYYYYYTHING for Halloween, I would like to dress up as a Victoria Secret angel. Before you jump to conclusions, please hear me out. You see, I LOOOOOVE angels. They are my greatest connection to spirituality. And I believe that the white wings that the Victoria’s Secret models use are beautiful and what I would consider to be realistic. But then again, I’ve never seen an actual angel even though I’ve had VERY angelic people in my life. And, yeaaaah, I understand that they’re wearing nothing else but undies and high heels. But aside from my good side, I don’t know if you’ve been able to tell, but I have a naughty and sexy side, too. π π
Haydee [00:03:30]:
Unfortunately, even though in prior years, I’ve looked for these wings on the Internet, I haven’t been able to find them. So in a way, that’s why I haven’t dressed up as a Victoria’s Secret angel before. π That’s the excuse I tell myself anyway. But if I EVER find those wings, I’ll be sure to at least wear them in my house. π Although in an ideal world, I would be wearing that at a Halloween party if only I could drive in those wings or have the courage to show up like that in public. And if that day ever comes, I hope that they have the heater on or at least the cooler off because I’m sure I would be quite chilly. But in all seriousness, I think that this costume would be the epitome of femininity, and exude sexiness, confidence, and a wow factor. I chose it because it would make me feel my best.
Haydee [00:04:36]:
I know it might seem funny, impossible, or even scandalous, but I think that Halloween is meant to highlight how we feel or for us to honor the people or characters whom we admire. Our costume has to spark a joy within whenever possible, especially if you CHOSE that costume and actually invest money into your costume. Just in case you’re wondering, no, I didn’t actually suggest that my team and I dressed up as Peter Pan characters, but the outfits and the collaboration turned out so well that I consider that to be one of my best Halloweens. If I ever dress up as a Victoria’s Secret angel, I’ll let you know how that experience goes. This will be especially easy if it happens in Heaven and I could just summon you so that I can share that experience personally there. π I’m joking. But who knows? π€·ββοΈ Maybe we CAN choose to spend our days in our personal heaven wearing only that.
Haydee [00:05:46]:
I hope this episode has inspired you to reminisce about and potentially plan for your future Halloweens. It surely is a treat to not take life so seriously and just fantasize about what we could be or represent for one day out of the entire year. Think about it, we don’t have that many Halloweens in our lifetime, so why not make the best of it? Sending you a big squishy hug π€.
